Payment Methods – How can I pay?

Payment is to be made at time of service and you have the option of cash, credit card and EFTPOS facilities at all of the clinics. Cheques are also accepted.

Visitor Appointments –
I am visiting from outside of Gold Coast – Can I get an appointment?

Yes, you can organise an appointment at any of our clinics.

Health Funds – How much will I get back from my Health Fund?

Please be aware that all funds are different and provide varying rebates on dental fees.  All funds reimburse only a portion of dental fees. Details of funds are not available to dentists and patients are advised to check with their insurers regarding exact refunds.

Veteran Affairs –
Are you registered with Veteran Affairs?

The practice is a registered local dentist officer practice with the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Approved patients form any State in Australia can be treated.  
The majority of services and dentures are completely free to entitled veterans.  

Christmas to New Years – Can I get an appointment with a dentist between Christmas and New Years?

We are open between Christmas and New Years with priority given to emergency work. Any appointments around the Christmas and December period should be made well in advance.

X-Rays and Radiation Protection – Will I need to have X-Rays?

This depends on your situation. X-rays are kept to the minimum necessary while still offering you complete patient care.  Extra attention is paid to children below 16 years.  Low dosage X-ray machines are used, the walls are lead lined as per the specification and design of Queensland and New South Wales health authorities and lead aprons are given to you for your protection.

I need emergency dental help, what should I do?

Every effort is made to attend to emergencies as promptly as possible.  Please telephone the surgery to advise the nature of the emergency before presenting for treatment. An after hours contact number is available. You must contact us with details of the emergency before presenting for treatment.
